Homework and Search
So once again I find myself at CS lab at school, better be here then at home since I need to get some much needed homework done. Still have to finish up chapter 8 of Differentials.
Also to note, I am currently typing this post on my laptop that is now the proud host of Kubuntu Linux. It is an interesting distro to install. The cd is not just an install cd, but also a live cd as well. Boot up and you have a full linux desktop to play with, and then on the desktop is the install icon. Very easy to do, though a bit scary since I wasn't sure if the partion manager was doing its job correctly since I'm not able to an overview like in Fedora(RedHat) or Suse. Then came the hard part, getting wireless to work. I knew I needed ndiswrapper, and I just grabbed the drivers off of the windows partition, but turns out that I still needed extra packages to get wpa encryption working. Then to just configure it to connect to an AP was hell, so many different wiki and forum pages telling different things.
But I got through it nicely and now it works like a charm, though I still would like it to just work and not need a password(ie sudo). Anyways I kinda posted what I did in the Ubuntu wiki, maybe someone will pick up on it. As for the search, well I decided to see what a google/yahoo/ask query would pick up on if I put in Yatima Meiji(YatimaMeiji). Its funny to see my name pop up like that, though remember its not my legal, but just as real, name.
